This week, our students took part in Safer Internet Day, an important event that helps young people navigate the online world safely and responsibly. We were delighted to welcome a visiting police officer, who spoke to our students about the importance of staying safe online.
During the session, students learned about protecting personal information, recognizing online risks, and how to respond to cyberbullying. Our guest officer shared top tips on creating strong passwords, thinking critically about what we share online, and how to seek help if something doesn’t feel right.
At Mill House School, we are committed to promoting digital safety and responsible online behaviour. Safer Internet Day was a great opportunity for our students to reflect on their online habits and make positive choices. A huge thank you to our visiting officer for their invaluable advice and to our students for engaging so thoughtfully in the discussions!
