This October, Mill House School is combining Harvest celebrations with some Halloween fun as we launch our annual Spooky Harvest Week.
Harvest is traditionally a time to give thanks and think about how we can support others. This year, we are inviting students, families and staff to contribute to a food bank collection that will help local people and families who may be facing challenging circumstances.
Our collection is open now and we are welcoming donations of non-perishable food and household essentials such as tinned foods, cereal, pasta, long-life milk, tea, coffee, toiletries and toilet rolls.
The final date for donations is Wednesday 21st October, with all items being delivered to our local food bank on Thursday 22nd October.
Alongside our collection, students will be celebrating with:
- A Fancy Dress Day on Friday 23rd October
- A Costume Parade
- A Small Sweet Treat to mark the end of a fantastic half term
At Mill House School, we are proud to promote kindness, generosity and community spirit. Our Spooky Harvest Week gives students an opportunity to put these values into action while having some seasonal fun.
Thank you to all our families and staff for helping us make a difference to those in need.
Together, we can fill our Cauldron of Kindness and support our local community.
