This week, students in Year 7 and Year 9 took part in a series of team-building challenges as part of The King’s Trust Achieve Award. The activities were designed to help students work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and reflect on their own strengths and areas for growth.
There were plenty of laughs along the way, helping to create a relaxed and supportive environment. This was especially valuable for our newer students, many of whom grew noticeably more confident as the sessions progressed and began to step out of their shells.
By reflecting on their experiences, students were able to recognise the importance of teamwork, resilience, and collaboration—skills which will support them not only during the Achieve Award, but throughout their wider learning journey and beyond.
