This week, Year 7 brought so much joy and smiles to Bablake House. From cleaning and organising cupboards, polishing cutlery, and laying tables, to taking tea orders and serving biscuits, the students were busy from the moment they arrived until the moment they left.
We also had a special visitor — Phoebe the dog — who delighted the residents. One resident in particular found the visit especially lovely, sparking smiles and stories about pets from her own childhood.
It’s always a privilege to hear residents’ life stories; their kindness and warm welcome make every visit memorable. We are so proud of our students for their energy, enthusiasm, and thoughtfulness in making this a truly special afternoon.
