To celebrate the outstanding achievements of two Year 9 pupils who earned our top‑level merit award during the autumn term, our group set off for a fantastic reward trip to Hatton Adventure World. These merits recognise pupils who consistently demonstrate Mill House School’s core values, and these boys truly embodied them throughout the term.
The day was filled with excitement from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights was definitely panning for gold, where the boys were fully absorbed in the challenge and proudly compared their discoveries. They also loved handling the animals, showing gentle care and plenty of curiosity.
A particularly funny moment came when they all attempted—somehow!—to squeeze into one of the tiny play houses. Their laughter was infectious, and giggles echoed throughout the day.
There should be a special shout out to Lorenzo, who was the group photographer for the day and took the amazing animal photos above.
The whole trip was a joyful celebration of hard work, kindness, and positive choices. We’re incredibly proud of our pupils and look forward to more memorable adventures as they continue to live out our school values.
