As the autumn term continues, our Autumn 2 themed weeks provide pupils with valuable opportunities to explore important social, moral and cultural issues whilst developing their understanding of the wider world. Through assemblies, lessons, tutor activities, enrichment opportunities and special events, pupils will engage with themes that promote literacy, empathy, respect, health awareness, citizenship and celebration. These experiences support our commitment to SMSC development, British Values and preparing pupils to become thoughtful, compassionate and responsible members of society.

Looking Ahead
These themed weeks form an important part of Mill House School’s wider curriculum, helping pupils develop academically, socially, morally and culturally. Through literacy, remembrance, anti-bullying initiatives, health awareness, human rights education, acts of kindness and festive celebrations, pupils will deepen their understanding of themselves, others and the world around them. By engaging with meaningful real-world themes, pupils continue to build the knowledge, skills and values needed to become confident, respectful and responsible members of society.
