Next half term, our school will be diving into a series of exciting themed weeks that celebrate creativity, inclusion, history, and the world around us. These special days offer pupils the chance to explore new ideas, learn about important events, and engage with stories and people who have shaped our world.
We begin with World Art Day, a celebration of creativity and expression. Pupils will explore how art communicates feelings and brings people together. We then turn to Autism
Acceptance Month, where we focus on understanding, kindness, and celebrating neurodiversity within our community.
Later in the term we will mark St George’s Day, exploring themes of courage and storytelling, followed by International Sculpture Day, which invites students to get hands‑on and creative with 3D artwork.
We will also spend time learning about VE Day, reflecting on peace, resilience, and the importance of community during challenging times. Nurses Day will allow pupils to appreciate the vital role nurses play in caring for others. Finally, we celebrate International Museum Day, encouraging curiosity about history, culture, and the amazing objects that help us understand our past.
We are looking forward to a thoughtful, creative, and inspiring half term of learning and discovery.
