We are so proud of our school leavers this year and the exciting steps they are taking. One student achieved excellent results, including grade 8s in English Language, English Literature and History, alongside passes in Biology and Mathematics. She is now moving into Sixth Form to continue her studies and prepare for A levels. Another student, who has a real passion for animals, has successfully completed her studies and passed Biology and Animal Care and is heading to college to begin an Animal Care course. Both have shown wonderful determination, creativity, and commitment during their time at Mill House School.

Achievement in Functional Skills
Our Year 11 cohort, who sat their Functional Skills English qualifications while still in Year 10, have achieved some excellent results. This reflects their hard work, resilience, and determination in preparing early for these key qualifications.
Results at a Glance
- Reading (Level 1): The majority of students passed, with some achieving very high marks (up to 30/32).
- Writing (Level 1): Strong performances across the board, with passes including scores over 40/54.
- Speaking, Listening and Communicating (Level 1): All students that entered the assessment successfully achieved a pass.
Overall, these results show a fantastic level of effort and commitment. We are proud of how well our students have risen to the challenge of taking these qualifications early and look forward to seeing them build on this success in Year 11.
