As part of Storytelling Week, our students took part in an inspiring online lesson delivered through the National Literacy Trust, featuring acclaimed author Jeffrey Boakye. The session encouraged creativity, confidence, and a love of storytelling, giving students valuable insight into the writing process.
Our students responded with enthusiasm and imagination, producing high‑quality poetry and short stories inspired by the session. Several students went a step further by entering the live competition, showcasing their work and representing the school with pride.
The week was a fantastic celebration of student voice and creativity, highlighting the power of storytelling and the impact of engaging with real authors to inspire young writers.
