We recently received a heartfelt message from Kingsleigh Cathey, Community and Challenge Events Assistant at Place2Be, recognising Mill House School’s wonderful efforts during Children’s Mental Health Week. Place2Be praised our whole school community for embracing this year’s theme of Belonging through a wide range of wellbeing activities, thoughtful appreciation messages, and our creative “Wings of Mill House School” project. They also highlighted our inclusive approach—right down to offering vegan options during our hot chocolate treat.
We are proud to support the important work of Place2Be and delighted that our commitment to promoting positive mental health has been so warmly acknowledged.
“It’s wonderful to see the amazing efforts everyone at Mill House School put into celebrating and supporting Children’s Mental Health Week this year. It sounds like your entire school community truly embraced what the week and our theme of Belonging is all about through your variety of meaningful wellbeing activities, lovely appreciation messages, and creative “Wings of Mill House School”. And such a thoughtful and inclusive touch to include vegan options for your hot chocolate and marshmallows.
On behalf of everyone here at Place2Be, we are incredibly grateful for your support!”
