On Monday, our students took part in an exciting off-timetable learning day focused on Morocco, helping them develop a deeper understanding of our partner school and its culture.
Throughout the day, pupils explored Moroccan tiled patterns in mathematics, learning how tessellated shapes are used to create the country’s beautiful traditional tiles. In geography, they investigated desert landscapes using grid coordinates, while in English they directed and acted out stories inspired by Moroccan themes. These activities, along with many others, brought learning to life and encouraged creativity, teamwork and curiosity.
We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, engagement and respect our students showed while learning about another culture. It has been wonderful to hear how many are eagerly anticipating receiving their first letters and taking part in the upcoming pen-pal exchange.
Well done Mill House School pupils — you continue to impress us every day.
