We are incredibly proud to share that a group of our KS3 students from the 2024–2025 academic year have been nominated for The King’s Trust Community Impact Award.
This prestigious award recognises groups of young people who have made a positive contribution to their local community or school, while also developing their own skills through teamwork, leadership, and service.
Celebrating Community Engagement
Over the past year, our students have demonstrated outstanding commitment to giving back to the community. Through our school’s dedicated Community Engagement initiatives, they have taken part in projects that not only benefited others but also helped them grow in confidence, empathy, and resilience.
One particular highlight has been their regular visits to Bablake Care Home. These visits have created meaningful intergenerational connections, with students and residents sharing stories, laughter, and experiences. The newsletters on our Latest News page capture these moments beautifully, showing how much joy and purpose the visits brought to everyone involved.
Inspiring Role Models
The nomination reflects not only the growth of each individual student, but also the strength of the group as a whole. Their willingness to engage, lead, and make a difference has been inspiring — both for their peers and for the wider school community.
From overcoming challenges to becoming role models and changemakers, these young people have shown determination, kindness, and the ability to turn opportunities into meaningful impact.
A Legacy of Positive Change
The materials shared with the award judges highlight just how far these students have come — and the legacy they are already leaving behind. Their journey stands as a testament to the power of teamwork, compassion, and community spirit.
We could not be prouder of their achievements, and we look forward to celebrating their continued success.
