This afternoon, Wednesday 28th January 2026, our Key Stage 3 students came together to celebrate their achievements from the autumn term with a well-deserved reward afternoon.
Students in Years 7, 8 and 9 had earned merits for their effort, behaviour and commitment to school life, and this event was designed to recognise just how hard they have worked. Each class selected a film to enjoy together, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere across the school.
To make the afternoon extra special, every student received their own pizza along with popcorn, sweets and chocolate — all enjoyed while watching the film with their friends. It was a pleasure to see students laughing, chatting and spending positive time together as a year group.
Throughout the autumn term, our KS3 students demonstrated our core school values of respect, courage, resilience, excellence, friendship, community and responsibility in so many ways, both inside and outside the classroom. This reward afternoon was a reflection of that commitment.
We are incredibly proud of our Key Stage 3 students and look forward to seeing them continue to thrive as part of our school community. Well done, KS3 — keep it up!
