Today, we observed Remembrance Day at Mill House School, honouring the bravery and sacrifice of those who fought for our freedom. Students and staff took part in a solemn minute’s silence and reading of the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ by John McCrae, reflecting on the importance of remembrance and the values of peace, respect, and gratitude.
This day also serves as a valuable opportunity for, helping our students build empathy, deepen their understanding of history, and appreciate the significance of civic responsibility. We encourage them to carry forward the lessons of this day—respecting others, understanding the importance of service, and fostering peace in their communities.
